January 2020 Gallery Opening: Zach Prosser / SUBURBIA

Providence

Zach Prosser

SUBURBIA is an exhibit of paintings by Zach Prosser based on a post-modern world affected by natural disasters and global warming.

Zach is a contemporary emerging artist residing in Warwick, Rhode Island. He has been creating and experimenting with acrylic paint for 4 years. Zach’s journey began with very raw drawings of figures involved in dark scenarios that he created as a tool to cope with anxiety and heartache. Through his journey he developed techniques which helped defined his own language in the art world. Each piece created is driven by energy, experimentation, and the emotions he feels throughout the painting. Zach’s work now takes on ideas of dream-like landscapes, celestial depictions of the universe, and visual energy. His most recent collection (Atmospheric Series) pushes the boundaries of modern day home decor and interior design.

Zach is an exhibiting member of the Wickford Art Association. His work can be found online at https://www.zachprosserart.com/. He has studied with Providence artists Anthony Tomaselli and Bob Dilworth.

Join us for an opening night celebration in Sprout Providence on January 16th from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. There will be a theatrical performance by The Wilbury Theatre Group and music provided by Michael Glucksman, with snacks and refreshments. RSVP to the event on Facebook.
