Sprout CoWorking: Our 2019 Year in Review

2019 was fast-paced and a year of growth absolutely full of events. Here’s a look back at our favorite coworking highlights of the year:

In 2019 Sprout CoWorking was a Rhode Island Inno 50 on Fire Red Blazer winner and voted one of RI’s Coolest Companies

Sprout members were treated to monthly breakfasts, cheese ‘n crackers, and pizza lunches each month of the year. There was even a members-only Providence Ghost Tour, Atomic Blonde Ice Cream pop-up and Main Street music jam from the Extraordinary Rendition Band.

Sprout CoWorking hosted over 120 events including panel discussions, movie screenings, meetups and art exhibit opening nights. We established a new partnership with Troop PVD to bring more community events to our Riverside Venue. Rhode Island Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea joined us as speaker for TWO important events – a Siren Women’s Co-Op event “Asserting Yourself at Work” in Warren and YesPVD’s RI Community Documentary Screening of “Suppressed: The Fight to Vote” in Providence.

Sprout Providence continued to support the arts for the fourth consecutive year – hosting Fringe Fest PVD, Gallery Night Providence, Eat Drink RI Festival, DESIGNxRI, Providence Tango Dancers, Community X Art Nights and Big Nazo Puppets. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, both RI Peace Flags hung together for the first time in our PVD location as a memoriam birthday celebration.

The community gathered together for change – with the RI Coalition Against Gun Violence, Creature Conserve workshops, Women Speak with Confidence series, RI Democratic Party meetings, Moms Demand Action Training, RI Inno’s Women in Tech Meetup and Giving Back in Business panel, a screening of Suppressed: The Fight to Vote, Sustainable Oceans, The Hope Bus and RecyCLEAN. Each time we were proud to be a part of these impactful and inspiring events.

Sprout CoWorking Warren celebrated its first anniversary and hosted the first shows in its art gallery. We welcomed new members on Main Street from the East Bay and beyond. Sprout Warren teamed up with Art Night Bristol Warren, The Little Clay Studio, Uptown Food & Spirits, Mt Hope High School, and Discover Warren to celebrate exciting local arts, talent and music within the community. Sprout Warren was also featured as a Rhody Gem in East Bay Magazine for April 2019!

Thank you to all of our members and the RI community for showing up and supporting us in 2019! We can’t wait to see what 2020 brings!
