Dan Collins
Sr Director Pre Sales Engineering | ePlus Technology, Inc
What does your business do?
At ePlus, we engineer transformative technology solutions for the most visionary companies in the world. I manage about forty Solutions Architects across four teams in the Northeast area, responsible for supporting approximately seventy-five Sales Executives. My teams consult with customers on their business challenges. We help guide technology decisions and deliver custom solutions with their interests in mind.
Why did you come to Sprout?
ePlus was looking for more value from its real estate spend. We are currently looking at all of our office space, utilization and what is necessary. Locally we had a large space in the city that was costly and hard to justify because of utilization. The staff used the conference rooms and offices but not on a consistent basis. Sprout provided us with the perfect balance of office space and conference rooms while saving considerable monthly costs.
How do you use Sprout CoWorking?
I use Sprout as my daily office. I spend 8-10 hours here M-F and on weekends if needed. I utilize conference rooms for customer, vendor and team meetings as part of my membership.
How do you like your new office space in the Annex?
The new Annex space is nice. I like the roomy feel of the space and windows that bring in plenty of light throughout the day. It’s quiet and productive for me.
What are your favorite parts about Sprout?
Some of my favorite aspects of Sprout are:
- The Flexibility. I can come and go as I please with my office space and reserve rooms as needed without carrying the monthly overhead from the past. ePlus corporate loves cost effective office space with month-to-month terms knowing it addresses our local needs without compromise.
- The Community Atmosphere. Sprout is active in the local community, supporting local artists, holding art shows, Women in Leadership events, Toastmasters, etc… It’s nice to see giving and supportive organizations like Sprout CoWorking grow while giving back.
- The Staff. Stacey, Molly and the team create a comfortable atmosphere that is professional yet casual. Sprout staff communicates to the community via its newsletter and as needed emails to ensure we are informed, especially helpful during these recent times. The staff has become my extended team.
