Clambake is a gathering for designers, creatives, and those who like design and want to know more. It’s a time to get together, network, and hear about some of the cool new design work that is happening in RI. Two presenters from two different design disciplines present each month. Presentations are generally 15 minutes followed by Q&A.
Since 2018, Clambake has been traveling around RI. Are there any designers/creatives in RI you’d like to nominate to be a Clambake speaker? Any cool spaces in RI we should host a Clambake? Let us know!
In January, we’re at Sprout Coworking in Providence. As Sprout’s visitors, we can access any of the four Rising Sun Mills campus parking lots around the building. There are many street parking available as well.
See the work of our speakers on the Facebook Event and register today!
Jenn Shore
Shore—Creative
Jenn Shore is the design director behind Shore—Creative, a multidisciplinary design office focused on branding, graphics and creative direction for the minimally inclined. Her focus on purposeful design and uncompromised perspicuity has served her in creating identities for brands such as The Nitro Cart, Thames Street Kitchen, and Norelius Studio. With each project, Jenn makes a conscious effort to deliver a visual system with both clarity and humanity.
Prior to heading her own office, Jenn worked as a creative director and designer for Richard Saul Wurman, the founder of TED. For over six years, Jenn and Wurman worked on several architectural, graphic, web, conference, cartographic, and publication projects. She was the sole design producer for Wurman’s latest book, UnderstandingUnderstanding, and aided in the curation of several projects that included collaboration with Esri, RadicalMedia, Safdie Architects, and The Nantucket Project.
Jenn is a Newport, Rhode Island native who studied Architecture at Roger Williams University in pursuit of her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.

Robin and Jessica met at RISD and both graduated with Illustration degrees in 2007. He has had a wildly varied career, working in all kinds of different fields, including, but not limited to: yacht upholstery, restaurant interiors, large format printing, vehicle graphics, sign making, storyboards and concept art, gaming illustration, various film trades, martial arts instructor, and stationery business co-owner. That sounds like a lot, but it all relates, he promises.
