A night of socially distanced fun to benefit our friends on four legs through the wonderful work of the We’re Here For The Dogs.
Sprout CoWorking and 990WBOB will team up to benefit our four-legged friends Friday, April 23 with “Movie Night” featuring the sports film The Sandlot at Sprout CoWorking, located at 166 Valley St., Providence.
All proceeds raised will be donated directly to We’re Here For The Dogs, a nonprofit organization helping dogs and cats locally. “Movie Night” is sponsored by Lil’ Rhody Storage, Fairview Gardens, and Bonetown Burgers & BBQ, who will be on site selling delicious items from its menu. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at 990WBOB.com or by emailing [email protected]
Ocean State Charity Events has curated an excellent collection of sports memorabilia items to auction both online and at the event. The auction will open online April 8th and also will include a doggie picture shoot from Meaghan Susi Photography. You can view the list by visiting 990WBOB.com.
In addition to our silent auction there will be a raffle featuring terrific items from the generous people at Knead Doughnuts, Nino’s Pizza, Tivoli Audio, Wampanoag Country Club and a few other surprises.
Beer and wine will be served, as well as concessions, thanks to our good friends at Longrifle Brewing and Narragansett Brewing company. “Movie Night” at Sprout CoWorking promises to be the most fun you’ve had at a fundraiser in a long time.

All Proceeds Will Benefit The Non Profit Group We’re Here For The Dogs
We’re Here for The Dogs (WHFTD) was founded in 2019 by three women with a mutual love of animals. We gained our official 501c3 non-profit status in April 2020.
So why exactly are we “Here for the dogs?” In short we help rescues, help dogs by hosting events & raising funds so that rescues can focus on what they do best- saving the world one dog at a time!
After spending years volunteering in rescue, fostering and working with animals, we realized that there were always dogs that needed homes, which means there was always a need for funding. So that’s where we come in- our events raise funds to help local rescues with medical cases, vet bills, daily supplies (food, toys, etc) and transport costs! The great thing about supporting WHFTD is that we are willing to help any local rescue in need when we can!
